Fessing Up

Ok - remember that post where I battled between Panera's and Burger King.....well...today Burger King won. And I'm not even sure why. I can just see Mark having a field day with this.

I had a good morning. Made a few calls, went to an appt - tho my client didn't show - crossed wires, we rescheduled for next week. All ok. Then went shopping for clothes, needed a couple more pairs of slacks that fit - more size 8 - I still have to look at the tag a couple of times to make sure it really is that size. So still feeling good. Left Kohls parking lot and my car drove me right thru the drivethru at Burger King (must have given my keys to jawz). I got a Whopper JR (at least it was a Jr!) w/Cheese and Onion Rings - I did pay extra for bottled water instead of soda - hey - it was a small victory!

So I sat down and ate it all (after taking my Going, Going Gone supplement - can't forget that!). I have to admit, it tasted good, tho not great. I know it wasn't healthy. I know, I know. But, it happened. And now I'm over it.

I'm 5 pounds from my goal weight. Even that sounds incredible. And I know I may be facing one of those walls about actually being under 140 and being able to maintain that weight without totally depriving myself. Talk about a weight I never thought I'd see again. So, this is really about keeping the faith and believing I can do this and celebrating having more energy and enjoying the way I look in clothes and so much more!
